Where There’s a Will There’s a Way!

As we know, medication is sometimes necessary to help heal children when they are ill. Some children are resistant to taking medicine voluntarily while others refuse to cooperate at all!  Where there’s a will there’s a way to get your child to take liquid medication.  Chocolate syrup after certain medicines can help get rid of the after taste of most medicines. Using a syringe is also effective in helping the medicine to get to where it needs to go, in your child’s mouth! These two videos featuring one of our nurse practitioners, Amanda Perry and two of her children, demonstrate effective ways to administer medications to your child. Amanda gently but firmly dispenses her children’s medicine while praising them for their cooperation. Good job!
